Description: Up for sale is my Electra X810N, MPC semi hollow body electric guitar. Made in the Matsumoko plant circa 1977. This is a beautiful example of this model. I searched for a long time to find one in this condition. I opted to upgrade the pick-ups to try and emulate the tones of a Gibson ES-335 by having Gibson Classic 57 & 58 pick-ups installed by a professional luthier here in San Diego as well as replacing the brass nut with a bone nut. I also added Rosewood tuning buttons to the original tuners. The action is extremely low and this thing plays like butter and it sounds incredible especially when you play around with the tone selector and the modules. The nut width measures 1.6 inches and I believe it has a medium slim neck profile and it weighs approx. 8 lbs. I will include the #1 phase shifter module in the sale as well as the really nice SKB hard shell case with keys. I hate to part with this beauty after doing all the upgrades. I photographed all of the minor dings to the best of my cameras ability and you can view the condition for yourself. I think I count about 4 small dings and 1 small scratch in the binding on the lower bout. The tortoise binding looks awesome and is in near perfect condition without shrinking. The neck joint is perfect also and very little fret wear. The tree of life inlays are perfect. There is a small stain around the lower strap button and at the base of the compartment door, that was probably from a leaky battery but there is no sign of acid leaking inside the compartment so I'm not certain.
