Description: Lovely antique cocktail dress that dates to the late teens or very early 1920s . It’s a transitional piece with an interior wide petersham but more of an art deco cut and design This consists of a silk sheath that is gathered at the hips with a beaded sequin overlay in shades of black and silver that has a cityscape scene on the bottom This is in very good wearable condition with some beading loss , most noticeably on the back shoulder ( see pics ) , there are some areas of brown fade on the skirt , one of the sleeve tassels is missing it’s dangle . The sequin skyline overlay is tacked to the black silk under dress on one side and not the other and I’m sure if this was intentional or not Approx measurements 40-30-40
