Description: Up for sale is a lot of 17 photo prints of Native Americans by renowned photographer Edward Curtis. These are all sepia toned done on paper using the photogravure process and were made from the original plates. These were part of a collection released in 1972, first time prints had been made available to the public since the early 1900's. Each print is full sized, 18" X 14 1/2", just as it was before being removed from the folio, many of these you see for sale have been cut down. All prints are in excellent condition, no rips, holes, stains or odors. Some may have slight corner dings, but these would never be seen once framed. Below is a list of the prints in this lot. I have 2 lots of these available so please see my other listings.
