Serial range is #53xxx or #59xxx as serial is slightly tarnished be better visible with magnifying glass. Selling today EARLY exaple of Couesnon flugelhorn . Please see all photos including bell engravings . These had a lot of text on bells . This is the rare example of the very well playing tested playing one. Even that valves are original there are no leaks, move smmoth and compression is great . Horn appears to have some repair possibly like a wrinkle on the bell. It's not that visible . It appears to be done long ago. There are some worn silver areas to the brass around but not much ( see all photos ) it is a vintage used horn . All slides are coming out and valves are smooth . Lead pipe is kind of short raw brass but works well and horn plays very well. This horn plays as good as vintage French Besson or even better . Has a large bell. I owned this horn for the past several years but now is the time to limit my horns collection and that's the only reason it's here on eBay . Horn also comes with lyre in different brass finish and original Couesnon case possibly from a bit younger Couesnon in good shape . You only need a screw so lyre stays on the bell as it's missing this is if you will need the lure. Don't miss out .
