Description: PRINT, PROBABLY OF NEW ORLEANS, IN THE 60S, JUDGING BY THE STREET LIGHT. AND BALCONY RAILINGS. OR IT MIGHT BE A STREET IN EUROPE. THE ORIGINAL MAY HAVE BEEN A PASTEL OR A WATERCOLOR, DUE TO THE SOFTNESS IN DETAILS. MATTED IN A GOLDEN BEIGE, WITH A GOLD-TONED WOODEN FRAME I purchased a couple of nicely-framed prints with the intention of using the frames for some of my husband’s art work, but the prints are so nice, I decided to resell them instead. You can read about the artist, Don Davey, online. He passed away in 2014. Very well-matted and framed by Carson Studio in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Not sure how they made their way to little Hamilton, GA. You can check my other listings to see another Don Davey print from l968 of ships in a harbor.
