Description: Vintage Crittall Brass Bronze Window Stay support casement prop Three hole 8 " type as recently removed from 20/30s/40s Crittall windows. I have spent considerable time safely and carefully removing years of paint from these. Cleaned and filed where necessary the original slotted Brass screw ( these often have a very worn slot ) Threads cleaned . Pivot oiled . Gentle polished over to give it a period aged ready to use look . 95 % of the years worth of paint removed leaving just the odd bit. I feel these have just the right patina now to use as.
