Beautifully designed and masterfully hand crafted, these sparkling contemporary salad servers are a perfect synthesis between art and functionality. Each server features a playful waved handle which stylishly tapers to a spiral finial. The wonderfully exuberant and dynamic design is beautifully finished with raised circular spots resembling rivets detailing the front face of the waved handle. These wonderfully artistic yet stylishly functional pieces are early examples of Carrol Boyes work with the rivet detailed design no longer in production. Not only are these beautifully designed pieces aesthetically pleasing, each server is perfectly balanced ensuring they are a delight to hold and use. SIZE: Each server measures approx 260mms in length. CONDITION: This set come presented in excellent vintage condition and appear to have been stored away in their vibrant purple box having never been used. (Minor scuffs to the box from storage mentioned for complete accuracy). An original Carrol Boyes card remains in the box. MARKS: The reverse side of each server is beautifully signed with an older style "C. Boyes S. Africa" mark.
