Description: 12" ByeLlo baby doll c 1930's Marked Grace Stoney Putman. Composition flange head on cloth body with compo hands, cloth legs. Head has sleep eyes, molded painted hair. Paint crack from upper forehead, through eye socket toward chin, smaller cracks around hairline and near nape of neck. One hand has had a finger replaced. Dressed in period baby gown.Minor paint rubs on back of head. No joints at shoulders or hips, although minimal stuffing at shoulders allows movement. Non-working crier. From the estate and personal collection of Dian Zillner, author of numerous books on Dolls, Doll accessories, and Doll Houses. Many of the listed items have been used as illustrations in her books.
