Description: Each book in the Living Through Biography series focused on a single person, except for this one. The High Trail offers a series of articles on a number of people (see Table of Contents picture). The book contains some black & white illustrations along with some line drawings. The articles were selected by Edwin Diller Starbuck. The publisher is the World Book Company, which refers to itself as the House of Applied Knowledge. Published in 1936, the book's cover and spine shows an elaborate Art Deco design. The book is in good condition. It is complete and sound, showing moderate shelf-wear (bumped corners). The owner of the book has stamped her name on the sides (see pictures) and on the inside cover. There is also some red ink on the inside cover which has been mostly erased. The binding is firm and the pages are near bright. Thanks for looking! We value your interest and will be glad to answer your questions.
