VINTAGE BOEHM "INDIGO BUNTING" FIGURINE #429, LTD ED, 10"h

Description: This lot is for a highly collectible porcelain figurine by Edwin Marshall Boehm (1913-1969), NJ-USA. He designed some of the most detailed and beautiful figurines ever (which is why his pieces are so highly collectible) and this one is no exception. Entitled "Indigo Bunting", this Limited Edition release of model #429H has now be retired. It features polychromatic enamel that is hand painted onto the bisque porcelain with beautiful colors that give this piece a realistic look. The blue on the bird is absolutely stunning!! Unfortunately, there is one petal on the flower that is chipped. Otherwise, the rest of the figure is in wonderful condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, etc. It measures 10"H x 5 1/2"W and has a 4"D base that is signed with the name and model # plus, there is an incised letter O & another mark like a line with a large dot above. As you can see in my feedback, I go to great lengths to pack everything, especially delicate and irreplaceable items, perfectly so that they can make the trip safely to where ever. But, in the case the postal service is crazy with the box (as they sometimes are), no worries, my items always go fully insured. Note- Free shipping is for continental US only.
