Description: This vintage hand-painted decorative blue and white plate features a charming girl hanging laundry on a line attached to a tree branch. Other painted details include her clothing, a bucket, blades of grass, flowers, and a rustic fence nearby. The plate has a lovely, irregular shape with painted light blue floral accents and decorative handles, and measures 9” across. It is suitable for hanging as it has 2 holes on backside. It is also SIGNED with artist’s initials (RWg 1 is what it looks like to me) among the blades of grass lower right. This vintage plate is in excellent preowned condition, no chips. Spots of what appear to be small spatter from HandPainted process is detected but doesn’t detract from appearance. See photos.
