Blue Ridge is a type of American dinnerware manufactured by Southern Potteries from the 1930's up until 1957, which was rooted in Erwin, Tennessee. Known for their underglaze decorations and colorful patterns that for the most part depicted flowers or organic foods. Each piece was hand painted therefore no two pieces are exactly alike and combined with the underglaze technique used which allowed the decorations to become more durable, they still capture the attention of collectors today.
