Description: From an old estate is this vintage hand carved Black Forest bear desk blotter. Wonderful detail. The blotter is tagged and marked Made in Switzerland (see photos). The bear has an open, growling mouth with teeth. There is also zigzag carving on the base. Measures about 5 1/2 inches long. Type of wood unknown. Very handsome and desirable form.
