Description: Vintage Tea "Kittel" from Berggren. Bright and colorful tea kettle decorated on both sides with Swedish Flowers and the words, "En vaktad kittel, blir aldrig brand" in Swedish that translate to, "A guarded kettle, never gets burned" in English. Berggren Trayner Corporation, Berggren Originals, Libertyville, Illinois." This lovely enamelware pot was made in the U.S.A. Kettle has a black handle with the word "Honey" on it. The inside of both kettle and lid are deep blue enamel. Kettle stands just over 6" tall not including handle, and pot holds approx 10 cups. Vibrant colors on both sides. Some rust/ discoloration on inside and on lid rim as shown in pictures, probably best used for decoration.
