Vintage Baare & Beards, Inc. Japan hand made pearl & rhinestone collar 14"

Description: This is a vintage 1940's collar on satin backing with the sewn-in tag which states: "Hand Made, a 'Top Hipt' fashion, Baare & Beards, Inc. One hook and eye closure on the inner corner. The pearls and rhinestones are both 4mm. I would describe this as in very vintage condition: the finish is worn on some of the pearls and some of the flat-back rhinestones are cloudy or "dead" stones. Some thread pulls in the satin on the back. It is a somewhat fragile, vintage piece, but still striking. Quite tiny: inner circumference is 14". It is 1 1/8" wide.
