Description: Here is a nice addition for a Tennessee local interest collection. This is a desk calendar for a business in Knoxville, TN. It is a pressed tin frame with a brass finish. It advertises the S.B. Newman & Co. , which was a Printing and Office Outfitting business. The 1946 paper calendar is complete. This may have been a promo gifted to customers using the S.B.N.C. products or services. The frame itself may date before 1946 as it does sport a nice Art Decor motif. I think the cut triangle on the backside is supposed to be bent down to act as a stand. If so, this calendar has never been used. It's condition is excellent but the printed lettering is weak.
