Description: Vintage July 1967 American Vogue magazine with the iconic Twiggy cover photographed by Richard Avedon. This is considered by many to be her most famous cover. The legendary Diana Vreeland was Editor in Chief. Fashions by Balenciaga, plus fashion preview. The clothes and accessories vibe is very mod. Models of the day include Veruschka, Bettina, Marisa Berensen, Ira Furstenberg, Wilhelmina, Lauren Hutton, Elizabeth of Toro. There is a fashion spread with Jean Seberg. Features on the "beautiful people" and Alexander Caldor. In very good vintage condition with clean pages including tear out cards. Twiggy cover is clean without a label. There is almost no shelf wear but the front cover is detached a couple inches at the bottom and the back cover is detached several inches at the bottom. If not for these, I'd consider the issue to be excellent nearly new condition and would price higher. From my family's estate and a smoke free home. Please ask all questions before buying as all sales are final. I combine shipping. Please ask for a final invoice before paying.
