Description: Vintage Alaskan Inuit Esquimo Wood Kayak & Hunter Carving, 1898. This artifact was collected by my father's uncle, Arthur Bolton, when he was in Alaska for the Yukon Gold Rush in 1898. In ink is written "Esquimo 189_ Bolton" visible in photo. On bottom in faint pencil is written "Esquimo". Perhaps it was brought home to Berkeley CA as a toy for Arthur Bolton's children See my other listings for more Klondike Gold Rush artifacts from this estate. Satisfaction guaranteed. IMPORTANT!! I have updated the shipping information for this Buy It Now listing, as my prior EBay listing for shipping was much more than the actual cost.
