Description: Item up for sale is a wonderful vintage 7 jewel 8 day maritime boat clock made by Airguide with a marked number on the back P 4592. This piece has a winder along the bottom which turns as it should. When turned the clock will sometimes do nothing and sometimes tick for several minutes before coming to a stop so this piece wants to work though will require an adjustment or repair to function as intended. Main body of the clock is constructed of magnetic metal which shows heavy tarnish and will need a heavy polish and cleaning. Rim around the dial shows finish wear, surface wear, soiling and patina and will need a polish. Brass back panel shows tarnish and patina consistent with age and use. Back panel has an old label about speed setting affixed which shows wear and curling around edges. Metal body shows no cracks or breaks. Glass dial cover shows areas of soiling on the underside of the glass. Glass shows no chips, cracks or breaks. Dial shows yellowing and patina consistent with age. Dial measures 3-3/8" by 3-3/8".
