Description: For bid is a vintage A-2 leather flight jacket from Flight Suits LTD of El Cajon, California. Size 42L. Made to original Army Air Corp specifications, it includes two front snap-flap pockets, collar snaps, and a heavy duty zipper, and has no side or interior pockets. Color is dark brown. I purchased this jacket in 1986, and it was my go-to jacket for about 15 years until it got just a bit too snug for my comfort. It’s just been hanging in a closet for the last 20+ years, and while I hate to part with it (because it’s such a beautiful jacket), I figure it’s time for someone else to enjoy it. Made of goatskin, it is both very pliable and durable. Nylon lining. The jacket is in excellent condition. The leather shows only one noticeable spot (a very small scuff) on the upper back as shown in the photo. I’ve included photos of every issue with the knit cuffs. I’ve also include photos of the jacket on me. I stand 6’2”. The measurements are as follows: Sleeve length: outer shoulder seam to end of cuff - 26” Jacket front: top of neck closure to bottom of waist cuff – 24”Jacket back: top of collar to bottom of waist cuff – 27”Underarm seam to underseam – 24” Please confirm measurements before purchasing.
