There are lots of Toklat licensed Myler snaffles available, but the bits made by Dale himself are highly sought after by horsemen everywhere. The bit features 3 inch diameter stainless steel loose rings with a 3/8 inch diameter by 5 inch wide smooth sweet iron snaffle bit mouthpiece. The bit is in clean well maintained pre owned condition with light natural rusting of the sweet iron mouthpiece. Harmless to horses, the rust has a sweet taste and promotes salivation which promotes lightness and quick response. This mouthpiece is a Myler snaffle Level 1 bit with zero leverage, mouthpiece MB 09. The Myler Bitting System is a graduated system, meaning that as your horse learns and progresses through his training, you will change the way you communicate by changing bits periodically. Each Myler Bit is designed to use select pressure points for the best communication for that level. Myler Level 1 bits are designed for horses who have just begun training, are learning basic gaits, transitions, and obedience, and have begun to "break at the poll". This is a very comfortable bit for the horse due to its ergonomic curvature design of the snaffle mouthpiece.
