Description: This fantastic cookbook was published in 1987 by the Westport, Connecticut Young Woman's League, and there is much to love. The photography is local and original - no clips or stock photos, and the local photography is just exceptional. The cookbook also includes pen and ink drawings, also original, by one of the Jr. League members. There are 286 pages loaded with recipes from some of Connecticut's best cooks. It measures approximately 9 1/4 inches in height, is about 7 inches wide and 1 inch thick at the widest point - very substantial and a great user-friendly size. This book is in very good vintage condition and has been well cared for. The front and back covers are intact with some very minor age-related scuffing and wear. The wire spine is in good condition with bent or broken teeth. All pages are secure - none are loose. Pages are clean - no spots, stains, tears, or printing. It doesn't look like it was used much, if at all. See photos for additional details.
