Description: Vintage 1970s Civil War Iron Replica Canon - The Dictator. This canon was used during the Civil war at the siege of Petersburg. This metal replica canon is heavy. It looks to be made of cast iron and is painted gold and black. The item is in good condition. Unfortunately the canon has separated from its display board (see picture). It should be able to be glued back on though. There is also a label that was stuck on the board but it is not part of the original item. There was no original label. The canon was purchased at the Petersburg national battlefield park gift shop in the 1970s. The mounting board measures 5x7x1. The canon is about 3”x2”.
