Description: Vintage BC Comics Grog Mugs Johnny Hart Anchor Hocking Fire King SET OF FOUR (4) About 3" tall and 3" diameter. Great set of four mugs with GROG - the cartoon caveman invented by cartoonist Johnny Hart. Labeled "Grog" on one side, with cartoon caveman face on the other. These mugs were promotional items from Marathon Oil produced in the 70's.. you'd get a mug with a fill-up. One of the mugs has a firing flaw in the "R" - it's marked on the photo. No other condition issues, apart from needing a good cleaning. Very difficult to get photos capturing the essence of the 'white on white' of these mugs! If you have any questions, please let me know.
