Description: Vintage 1970 Barbie TNT PJ Doll Swingin in Silver Sears Exclusive Gift Set Rare Vintage Twist n Turn PJ in the rare Swinging in Silver outfit.This gift pack was a 1970 Sears Exclusive. She’s 100% complete with all pieces of her outfit including pink pilgrims and the coat hanger. These were found after photos were taken, see last photo. This doll and outfit has had one owner for the past 20 years, has been kept in a cool, dry, dark environment away from sunlight.I purchased this myself from the original owner in Canada in 2003. They took fantastic care of it. Photos makes her look yellowed, however her skin is nice and pink with maybe the slightest translucent overtone. This outfit is extremely difficult to find in such near mint condition.The silver lame is in fantastic condition with little to no wear.The pink satin on the dress is usually very faded, however it retains over 90% of its original bright pink colour.The beads are 100% original, and so are the glasses and their stitch. Nail polish is excellent, as are the eyelashes.Body is an even pink tone all over.Knees bend and click, and hold pose. None of the following: chewed hands or feet, swingy limbs, broken knees, broken hips, neck splits, green ear, hair cuts, earring holes, sticky legs. It's pretty hard to fault, but being very picky I note the following: There is a small surface ladder right above the skirt, and a tiny dirt spot.A tiny amount of fading to the inside of the coat around the top stud.Cotton has loosened slightly on one side of the top stud on the back of the dress.The neck of the bathers has a couple of dropped stitches.There are a couple of loose flyaway hairs.One hairband has disintegrated, the other is present but has turned black.A pin prick sized hole near the toe of each boot from where it was originally attached to the packaging. She is extremely difficult to find in Australia in such condition.Price is reflective of this. Feel Free to make an offer. Please see all photos of item for exact details.
