Description: VINTAGE 1960’s Original ALPO USA DAN The DOG Ceramic Pottery Cookie Treat Jar. In excellent condition no chips cracks. Marked on the bottom USA Alpo Dan the dog. This is the original that was made in the 1960s. Also has the word Alpo on his collar. Later versions came out in the 1980s and We’re only marked USA on the bottom and generally did not have Alpo written on the collar. This is a sheep dog and stands approximately just a little over 8 inches tall by about 4 1/4 inches wide. From a smoke free home.
