Description: I’m very excited to offer for your consideration this super funky 1960’s MCM flush mount fixture! This fixture wholly embodies mid 60’s style, an era of wild modernity. It’s playful, yet, elegant. Though one of the shades retains its original manufacturers tag, I was unable to locate any information or catalog images, but someone that knows more about the company than I may be able to find out more with a little digging. The finish on this fixture is very untouched, and I have only gently cleaned it, leaving the nicely mottled patina. For not having been polished, it still retains a very high sheen, and only shows very minor wear and scuffing. The metal components of this piece are free of notable flaws, age appropriate wear excluded. The glass cylinder shades are in fantastic condition and show no chips or losses to speak much of. They’re very thick and heavy, and deeply molded into a honeycomb pattern, which throws a fun pattern onto the ceiling when lit - I love it! If you’ve been looking for something FUN for your mid century foyer, or in a large vestibule or hall, this fixture might just be the one! This scale of this fixture is ideal for just about any smaller sized room, measuring about 15 inches long and 11 inches in diameter at the ceiling. The sockets, wiring, knurled finial, and mounting hardware are all new, and the fixture will come ready to hang. Light bulbs are not included. Shipped via UPS ground.
