Description: Vintage 1959 1960 Hofner Committee Natural Blonde Birdseye Electric Guitar 1960s This is very nearly a 'Golden Hofner'! I was so happy to find this for sale up in the North East. It's a late 1959 / early 1960 Hofner Committee that has the Birdseye maple body, and the golden Hofner 'Escutcheon' tailpiece. This is truly rare and top of the range back in the day! The previous owner replaced the pair of pickups with a newer pair of humbucker pickups which work incredibly well and give it one heck of a sound. It is in great condition, with only a few small marks as pictured. The neck is strong and solid, along with good conditioned frets. I love this guitar, it's full of character.
