Description: Offered here is a vintage canvas banner. This is a 1956 Buick Dealer New Model Introduction Meeting Cloth Sales Banner. This sales banner was for use in Buick dealership employee / salesmen meetings, that were to be held at the beginning of the new model year. It reads: "Canvas Your Buick Owners For Leads...Sew Up Sales With Better Demonstrations...Show 'Em How Buick Delivers The Goods!...Buick Buccaneers." It measures 30 inches long by 20 inches wide. The condition is POOR. It is yellowed, soiled and stained throughout, (ESPECIALLY near the top) from exposure to the elements. It looks like it was nailed at the top, and along the sides. It appears over time the nails rusted and stained the cloth. Both metal grommets are rusted. The top / left grommet is almost torn loose from the cloth, and is just barely attached. It still displays fairly well, but condition freaks (I'm one myself) will probably be disappointed. This is a rare item, never released to the public, and is hard to find in any condition.
