Description: A fun piece that could go steampunk, costume, or even used in the shop! Welding/safety goggles from the 1950s. The eye cover assemblies have groovy lightning bolts on the outside. The assembly comes with both clear lenses and green lenses depending on whether you're using them for safety glasses or torch / welding work. The only defect is a small chip on the upper left goggle... See picture for more. Both the clear and green lenses have original weld spatter marks, but not enough to obstruct vision. As you might imagine, the elastic is worn out and not stretchy, but the metal guides are in great condition. There are small rubber gaskets that pad the lens once screwed in. These are dried out because of age but they are included in the sale.
