Description: This is an incredible example of a vintage Fuller Brush Magazine / Catalog! There is no date printed, but through clues in the content, I am concluding that this catalog dates to 1950 or 1951. The catalog is the story of, " My Husband Has Seven Wives". It proceeds to show us a week in the life of a young wife with 3 kids and how she uses Fuller Brush products to get through the many challenges of each day and meet all her husband's needs. He doesn't seem to need any of the products because he is otherwise occupied at the office, golfing or watching boxing. The boxing match features Rocky Graziano - one big clue to the era of this catalog. The clothing, furniture, car ... and the social attitude are other clues! This piece is in fine condition, clean and unmarked. It is stamped with the name of the Fuller Brush salesman. It still has a blank order form stapled on the last page and one insert tucked in. There is a very light bend to the front lower right corner, else no folds, no creases, no tears, no stains or soil. The product line unfolds in a story of what the woman must conquer each day of the week. To do all this, she needs a wide variety of Fuller Brush products ( that I never knew they made!). This includes a cosmetic line, colognes, moisturizers, bath and hair products, cleaning products, moth proofing, and of course, cleaning brushes of all kinds. But thanks to these great products, the wife remains gleeful and glamorous! She also takes Fuller Vitamin Food Supplements. This catalog is so much more than a list of products and prices. It reflects the 1950 era lifestyle and social attitudes of middle class suburban families and reads like a 1950's family sit-com! Ships with USPS media mail.
