Description: Vintage 1947 Olds Ambassador Trombone (F.E. Olds & Son) + King 28 Mouthpiece This is a vintage 1947 Olds Ambassasor Trombone made by F.E. Olds & Son in Los Angeles, CA. This is from my grandfather's brass collection. The case is the original 1947 case. It includes a King 28 trombone mouthpiece. Condition: The slide works well. It does have a rougher area towards the end to move the slide through, but it doesn't hinder playing much. The slide lock is broken so a small strip of velcro is added to protect the slide during storage (see pictures). A part of the handle lost its solder so two C-clamps were added and further secured with electrical tape, doesn't affect playing (see pictures). The finish is rubbed off in many places and there are multiple dents on the tubing and braces (see pictures). No dents on the bell though! The tuning slide also moves. The case is in very rough condition with tape protecting some of the more vulnerable places (see pictures).
