Description: Vintage 1940s White Rayon Mesh Wedding Gown Appliqué Roses Puff Sleeve AS IS. This authentic 1940s wedding gown is made from a pure white rayon. It has a white mesh along the front and back neckline. The full skirt of the gown has the same mesh overlay. There are pleated ruffles along the neckline and ends of the sleeves. The sleeves are gathered at the shoulder creating volume. There is an appliqué rose at the center of the bust and a trail of appliqué flowers along the front of the skirt, right below the knee. There is a side seam zipper that is in working condition. This special piece is in great condition for it's age. There are some large tears in the mesh of the skirt. There are tears in the mesh along the neckline. This piece is still wearable despite these issues.
