Description: {NOTE: These will ship for free within the contiguous USA, which is why the price is a bit higher than you might have expected. That alone will cost about $150+ with UPS} Absolutely lovely set of matching desk swivel and stationary arm chair from the ~1940s. They are extremely comfortable and the swivel you can adjust the tension so it's more loose or tight of a tilt, as well as height adjustment. This style is often called banker's chair, lawyer's chair, but swivel desk chair seems the most fitting and often used. The swivel chair seems to be in about the middle of how tall or short it could be. Full Dimensions:SWIVEL CHAIR:- Usable seat area 21" wide x 17.5" deep- Widest at the arms is 23.5"- Seat is 17.5" from the floor and appears to be in the mid-point for height- Top of back is 34"ARM CHAIR:- Usable seat area 20.5" wide x 17" deep- Widest at the arms is 24"- Seat is 18.5" from the floor- Top of back is 33"Lovely set, I got them to go with a 1940s wood desk I also have that while not exactly matching and probably from different manufacturer, would look wonderful together. If interested in pics of that desk, I'd be happy to forward and add to make a full set. I got these from a neighbor who said they were in their father's office at Miami or Xavier (can't remember now).
