Description: Vintage 1940's German Black Forest Celluloid 7" Doll A darling little doll dressed in traditional German Black Forest children's attire. She has a little woolen outfit with a black skirt and burgundy bodice with white cotton puffed sleeves trimmed in delicate white lace. She has a deep blue silk apron and little gold threads laced across her bodice. Her bollen ~ her straw hat loaded with large red pom poms is fixed to her head. White felt panties and her socks and shoes are painted on. Her hair is as originally styled, with two low braids finished with tiny black satin bows. Hand painted face, head and legs are stationary, but her arms are jointed at the top. Excellent Collector's Condition ~ She is from the 1940's so her condition is indicative of her age and history, but has not been played with and is in excellent condition ~ Body is solid and clothing and hat are fixed ~ A few small chips to the paint on her shoes ~ Please zoom in on the photos to view details and feel free to ask any questions
