Description: PAL BLADE CO. AND PAL CUTLERY CO ARE ONE AND THE SAME PAL...VINTAGE 1935-1953 PAL UTILITY CAMP KNIFE. YOU WON'T FIND MANY IN THIS FINE OF CONDITION. THIS KNIFE SHOULD BE A GREAT ADDITION TO ANY KNIFE COLLECTION. I RATE THIS KNIFE AS EXCELLENT CONDITION. PATINA IS CONSISTENT WITH ITS AGE AND USE... Cool One! I WOULD LIKE TO OFFER UP A LITTLE HISTORY ON THE PAL BLADE CO. OF CHICAGO FOUNDED 1934 BY OTTO KRAUS. THEN IN 1935 JOINED WITH PAL CUTLERY. THE ORIGINAL TRADEMARK WAS FIRST USED BY UTICA KNIVES AND RAZORS OF NEW YORK, 1924 TO 1939. THE BLADES WERE FROM GERMANY AND STAMPED PAL AND PAL BRAND. NOW YOU CAN BEGIN TO SEE WHY THERE HAS ALWAYS BEEN CONFUSION AROUND THE PAL NAME. I MAY BE MAKING IT WORSE, NOT SURE. IN OR AROUND 1940, PAL BLADE BOUGHT TRADEMARK RIGHTS TO THE REMINGTON CUTLERY DIVISION OF REMINGTON ARMS. INCLUDED WITH THAT PURCHASE WERE TWO REMINGTON FACTORIES,COMPLETE WITH EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS. ALL OF WHICH WAS USED IN THE TRANSITION PERIOD OF THE PAL BLADE TAKE OVER OF THE REMINGTON FACTORIES. THE PAL BLADE KNIVES WERE VIRTUALLY IDENTICAL TO THE REMINGTON KNIVES. SOME BLADES WERE STAMPED REMINGTON AND SOME BLADES WERE STAMPED PAL ON ONE SIDE AND REMINGTON ON THE OTHER SIDE.THE PAL BLADE MILITARY KNIVES MADE DURING WAR.II *You will receive the exact item in the pictures. If there is a sheath or a box, it will be in the pictures.*These words do not mean QUALITY, do not confuse things of this nature with assuming all are QUALITY.Some models that are VINTAGE AND RARE are very well made however there are also models that are not.The high price has nothing to do with how it is made and has everything to do with COLLECTIBLE and RARE and nothing to do with QUALITY.So if you are not familiar with VINTAGE OR RARE OR ANTIQUE items then ask questions. You can even email me and ask questions about them, and I will even answer you.Things are COLLECTED on various reasons and ideas and notions so define your reason for buying ANTIQUE & RARE & VINTAGE items before you do so.Think about a VINTAGE AND RARE MODEL T, is that quality and well made vs. a 2015 Mercedes Benz G63?There are many rare models that are hard to find because they were not quality and broke so there are few left in existence making it rare.Buyers that are extremely picky and anal I suggest should shop in person at local shows so you can see the items first hand. Please ask questions about the particular item or items you have questions about prior to purchase. Two Day Handling - 30 Day Return PolicyFirst Class USPS Shipping to all 50 States, APO/FPOs & US Territories!I ship these items via the USPS within 2 days from the date payment is received.
