Description: Attractive pre-World War Two globe provides a window into history. Globe dated to 1931 on basis of Central Australia territory (only found 1927-1931); Istanbul shown (changed from Constantinople in 1930); and lack of Manchukuo (so-named from 1932-1945.) Globe is in good used condition with nice patina, handsome wooden base. Some discoloration, worst damage is just north of Manchuria, where some of the paper gore has been rubbed away. No returns accepted.
