Description: Lovely 1920's Art Deco Era or earlier ivory colored Swans Down Powder Puff in an attractive Derby Silver Co silver plated powder jar. The silver plated jar measures 4.75” in diameter and sits 4” tall with cover on. The underside of the jar is stamped, DERBY SILVER CO 37. Deep relief scrolls with an assortment of different flowers and leaves. It does show loss of silver plating resulting in a lovely patina. No dents, the inside is very clean.The swans down puff inside the box is clean and fluffy. It has an ivory colored silk backing with a celluloid finial. The puff does have a lovely powder scent.
