Description: Vintage 1885 City Ballads by Will Carleton Hardcover Poetry Prose Illustrated. Measures about 9" x 6-3/4" with 180 pages. Cover has edge and corner wear, some light soiling and rubbing but still solid illustrations and gold lettering. Inside, the first 3 pages have come away from the spine but are included ( pages are blank except for the title only on one page), and the last page or two appear to be missing (pages or advertising other books end on page 4 of the back index of books for sale) Pages have foxing spots , light wear and other tanning, other light staining. Binding is solid (aside from the loose front pages). A former owner wrote their name on page 5, and another name and address is written on the first (brown) page. We try very hard to protect your purchase- books and other paper items get sent in plastic sleeves or bubble wrap surrounded by cardboard, other breakable items get packing peanuts, bubble wrap, or other protection to help avoid postal damage.
