Description: Here's a good deal on a professional instrument. You'll have fun with this pre-owned Vincent Bach Model 37 silver trumpet. The serial number is 103xxx which puts the date of manufacture around 1976. On the bell it reads "Stradivarius Model 37 Vincent Bach Elkhart, Ind. U.S.A." It has; good valves, free moving tuning slides, thumb saddle, no big dents, mouthpiece and a case. It has "player's horn"-look with a lot of finish wear around the grip, (see pic) a couple of tiny dings and the wear of a trumpet that's been played. I believe this trumpet has been sitting for awhile and would detail nicely. Me? I'm not a store/Maynard Ferguson. Buy accordingly. Looking for instruments and getting them into the hands of players is a hobby of mine. I've come across a few of these in the past and they are prized. I'm not a trumpet player but can get a nice sound out of it and, as is, would be good enough for me. That said, since whoever buys this will be an advanced/pro level player, I'm sure you'll want to have your tech give it a complete going over for adjusting/cleaning/cork/give the works to get in tip-top condition...and am selling a such.
