All of the pieces are from my own family's brand new purchases, not yard or estate sales, and come from a smoke-free home. My mom purchased many of the Amapola set and displayed it on her large china cabinet for many, many years. They are in excellent pre-owned condition, she used some of the pieces on a few special occasions, but always put them back to display. They have all been packed away for many years. I'm downsizing since I am getting up there in my years. Time for another family to enjoy it now. I also have dinner plates, cups and saucers, soup plates, salad plates, the sugar & creamer set, the serving bowl, the cheese cutting board, among other pieces, which are listed on separate listings. Spanish for "poppy," the Amapola flower is a gorgeous flower which is rendered beautifully in the Amapola dinnerware pattern by Villeroy & Boch, first produced in 1981, which looks gorgeous on any table on any occasion, and it displays beautifully in your china cabinet. This will be carefully wrapped and packed in a proper box so as to reach your home just as it left mine. Please look very carefully at all pictures as it depicts the entire item with full details, and it is part of the description. Other than what I have disclosed above, it is in great shape. There are no chips, cracks, scratches, crazing or discoloration. This would make a wonderful addition to anyone's collection, it is truly a beautiful set to own and display.
