Description: Offering a very nice cake knife/server from Villeroy & Boch in the Amapola pattern. Elegant fine china pattern with a beautiful orange and blue poppies. This pattern is discontinued and was made from 1978-2001. It is presently on sale on that popular replacements website for $95! "Amapola" is Spanish for "poppy," and is considered a symbol of wealth and contentment. This gorgeous flower is rendered beautifully in this pattern by respected German manufacturer, Villeroy & Boch. It looks gorgeous in both casual and formal table settings. Excellent, gently used condition. No chips, cracks, marks or stains on the porcelain handle. There are fine scratches on the PRILL Stainless Steel blade, which is made in Sheffield, England. It has been in storage and I hand washed it. Mix & Match this with any classic white china! I am not any kind of china expert, but have done some internet research and have tried to include details that might be important to the buyer.
