Description: This Vietnam Era 60s 70s Unbranded Japan JPSK Style Jet Pilot Survival Knife & Sheath is in good, clean condition overall and but shows expected signs of age, handling and storage. The blade is marked only "JAPAN." The original factory edge has been retained as well as a strong amount of the original blued finish. The crossguard is clean though there is a mild amount of "play" or "wobble" detectable. The stacked leather handle is in solid, clean condition and no cracks or other obvious damage can be noticed. The pommel does not screw off and is securely held in place. The leather belt sheath is also in good condition. The leather is soft and supple, all metal hardware is intact and functions as you would expect. Also of note, the original sharpening stone is still present and appears to have never been used. Japanese-made knives like this were popular in the 60s and 70s amongst servicemen stationed in South-East Asia, as they were both affordable and available. Please examine the photographs carefully for the best description of contents and their condition.
