The gondola shape of this inkwell feature festooned fera de prova at both ends. This ornate inkwell is topped in a Lyre surrounded by roses and surrounded by ornate scroll work design. The well lid closes snugly, the hinges operate as intended and the brass is bright and beautiful. The glass wells are included and there are two pens with nibs in the center section. It is signed on the bottom WT for William Thomas. This inkwell will make an inspired gift or wonderful addition to your personal collection. The item has some marks please see the photos.
