Description: A lovely pair of earrings from the Victorian/Edwardian era, circa: 1880s/1900s. These earrings are delicately crafted from solid 14K yellow gold. The hooks have been replaced but the rest is all original and in very good condition. The ear wires are replacement 14K hooks. They suspend the top portion of the earrings that is decorated in balls on the outer edge with a flour de liz in the center and a textured background. The tops the suspend the back and forth sway bodies. The bodies are a drop shape with a ball motif no the outer edge as above. The the center of the drop is a loop which features an etched design. There are a lot of design elements in these earrings that make them that much more fabulous. No hallmarks were located but tested as 14K. There is a little wear to the earrings but they are in very wearable condition. I do see an old soldier at the top where the old backing had been replaced, but that would be the only repair noted.Measurements:Length: 64.7 mm.
