Description: Wow, check this out: a seven inch Victor announced record, #620, circa 1903. The popular Billy Golden sings the laughing song "Yaller Girl", with piano. Singing, laughing, and talking, quite enjoyable. The record plays well, there is a lot of surface noise at the start, then moderate surface noise throughout the rest of the record The guide book says Victor used this style label from May 1903 to January 1904. Price was 50 cents, same as Edison charged at that time for a 2 minute cylinder record. In 1903, many more people had cylinder machines than disc phonographs. This is early disc history, very rare, if this is what you like, do not pass it up! $5.25 ground advantage mail postage and handling fee. See my store for more rare records, and thanks for looking!
