Description: >> --> >> --> Description >> --> This is an attaché case from Swaine Adeney Brigg, a long-established British company founded in 1750. It is a brand that holds a Royal Warrant from the British Royal Family. I custom ordered a standard style attaché case (officially called "attaché") a long time ago, but I dont think its currently available for purchase, so its quite a rare item. I think its also the first time in the world that its been offered on the second-hand market. The customization included changing the metal fittings from the usual brass (gold) to chrome-plated (silver), changing the interior from the usual green to beige, and making the gusset wider than usual so that it can hold more. Just this customization alone costs a considerable amount of money. Since I used it for business purposes, I took practicality into consideration, making it silver so that it can be easily matched with a suit, has a highly visible interior, and has plenty of storage space. I love briefcases and have owned many in different materials from brands such as Hermes, Cartier, Zero Halliburton and Rimowa, but I just couldnt let go of this bag, it was of a different class to those other brands. The bridle leather from those days was thicker and more densely packed with fibers. I dont think its possible to use leather so luxuriously these days. The more you use it, the deeper the black it will turn. To be honest, the leather quality is on a different level to Whitehouse Cox, Manso, and Daikyo bags. I would be happy to pass this bag on to someone who understands the appeal of this bag, which has been extremely useful in the business world. It is an auspicious bag that has been with me through many successes. I think it would be extremely valuable as a collection piece or as a decorative piece. Those who know Swain Adney will know that this is the brand of bag carried by James Bond in the 007 movie "From Russia with Love." You cant buy it now, but if you were to buy it, I think it would cost over 1 million yen. Regarding the condition, there are scratches and scuffs due to normal use. As shown in the 6th and 7th photos (enlarged), there is a dent (scratched?) in one place. Although not shown in the photo, two keys for the lock are included. Im sure the storage bag is still there, so I will include it if I can find it. If you have any questions, please feel free to comment. Thank you. Payment We only accept PayPal payments.
