Very Rare Metamec Mantel Clock

Description: Here we have an almost full original metamec mantle clock (model.number 941 modern design) This is a more rarer to find than the usual wooden frame version of this clock, it's presented in a acrylic frame, there is an original quartz movement in place. This has been extracted and tested whilst the clock was cleaned. It passed with flying colours and is now back with the clock. As you can see I have done before during and after pictures,so you can see the work that has been done. The clock really needed a good clean up of the brass work, I have also updated the feet, from basic wood to a green acrylic (taken from a wood version of this clock). The vinyl on the underneath of the feet has been replaced with felt. The original quartz movement keeps really good time, there is a very quiet tick from the movement and a more audible click when the minute hand moves round. The clock has been a joy to work on and only very small amendments have had to be made. I have had to add a new to the clock time / hand adjuster, which I took from a 1960s wind up clock.
