Description: RARE PERUVIAN ANTIQUE FOLK ART CHANCAY BURIAL DOLL MOTHER GIVING BIRTH. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. Very rare, authentic pre Columbian Peruvian Chancay burial doll. A woman giving birth with 3 attendants. Museum quality. Some of these burial dolls have been preserved because of the arid environment in Peru. The Chancay civilization ended in 1450AD, when the Incas overtook them. This doll measures approximately 6" in height and approximately 4 1/2" in width. Of course, there is some textile deterioration and stains, but considering the age, it is very minor in my opinion. Returns are accepted only if I have not accurately described the item. Pictures are a part of the description. Pictures are not enhanced in any way and taken in natural sunlight.
