It is in excellent mechanical condition but certainly can use a thorough buffing. It has been air tested (video).It has been fired a few of times. Probably very few considering the condition of the burner tray.It should operate on steam without much trouble. It is 100% complete and 100% original, including the original box that is in good but not perfect condition (photos).I am of the opinion that, rightfully, a bit of oil was added to the water. Unfortunately, someone forgot to drain it and the box is now very well lubricated (photo). This item was been around for 60+ years without a whole lot of changes.
